Following on from last week's discussion of what Revival Druidry is like, I wanted to take a look at what has helped it last so long as a fringe set of beliefs. I'd especially like to hear if there's anything I've missed that you think has been important to Revival Druidry's longevity.

Human groups have life spans much like organisms. Young, spontaneous and creative people belong to the startup phase. At a certain point rules are formalized and people who do not fit in have to be kept out. Finally a generation of young grows up that ignores the group, and it slowly dies out. Perhaps someone has written a book on the ecology of human groups :)
