For whatever it's worth, as an entrepreneur whose software company was acquired by a major corporation, I have personally found that doing what you love for money is a good way to trade the love for the money!

The only additional obvious thing to me is that in your first dream, the opportunity was handed to you from outside (e.g. wasn't self-directed). It seems like you ought to be (and are?) preparing yourself for it, but that something will be given to you or be made obvious to you (rather than you needing to force it).

Have you done divinations about your dreams? I have found these to be an excellent way to clarify if I should be paying attention to a dream, what the significance of parts of it are, etc.
