Huh, well, if after thinking it over, that still feels like the right bet, it might be that you're being encouraged to lean into the "learn from crises, and try to not to let yourself get hopeless or confused" reading I gave for NYC (or, of course, that that more complex interpretation was off, somehow).

One further thought that came to mind - you mentioned "fundraising for your company," and Woden was interpreted by the Romans as Mercury, and the kind of combination of cleverness and will to power He embodies seems quite fitting for entrepreneurial endeavors to me, so that might be what Ansuz was doing in your reading. If that's right, combined with this follow-up, one possible interpretation is that the fundraising might not go so well over the next couple of months, and might tend to make you feel hopeless, but that NYC is still your best bet for other reasons, but I'm going out on a bit of a limb here.
