Thank you! I had some similar thoughts going into it, but I ended up enjoying the book quite a bit. Something I forgot to mention in the review is that the book also includes a discussion of how George W. Carey's interest in cell salts intersected with these traditions, and an appendix giving the "Carey Protocol" that JMG has shared on his dreamwidth, which reminded me I need to get back into that.
