D'oh! I thought I had explained that, but I realize I did not. "Murky" here is just a bit of jargon that means "the Runestave landed face down" and it's roughly equivalent to drawing a card "reversed" (upside down) in card-based systems like the Tarot. In the system of interpretation I use, it means either that the force/concept/archetype represented by the Rune is manifesting in some unbalanced or unhelpful way (for example, with Ansuz, the Rune of language, consciousness, and Magic, that could be lies or manipulation) or else that it is blocked somehow (again, with Ansuz, that might mean dullness or inability to express things).
