[Main Blog Post] Looking Back on 2024 and Forward to 2025

Another year, another end of year post. Not much that will be new, though if you haven't been keeping a tally, you're likely not sure how many posts I put up this year, and I seriously hope you don't already know how many books I read.

Thanks for sharing your oath and I offer my best wishes for 2025!

Writing for a living seems like a tough nut to crack. When your customers are not businesses or governments they can afford relatively little. Writing just one thing for pay is an interesting approach. It might be easier to get paid for reading from your own work.

Congratulations on finishing your book! 40,000 words is nothing to sneer at.

If you haven't already run across Kathleen Spracklen's Zettelkasten videos, I really recommend them. I have adopted several of her approaches in my own ZK (tagline indexing in particular has been incredibly fruitful).

May your search for remuneration in 2025 be successful!
