[Main Blog Post] Let's Talk about LGOPs
Well, despite all the craziness going on in both my personal world and the wider world of news, I've got a post that looks into something from WWII that I've long been interested in: Little Groups of Paratroopers, or LGOPs.
As always, please let me know what you think in the comments below!

Thanks for that. I learned a lot from this post, and I also liked the lessons you drew from it. Very thought-provoking! :-)
Imagine if the allied paratroopers on D-Day would have had the kind of "mission statement" which is common nowadays in the business world... ;-)

Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it and found it interesting!
And yikes, no kidding! I often find it helpful to compare the stuff we put up with, but know sucks with things from the past that actually worked. It's a great antidote to how "obvious" or "common sense" ways of going about things might not be so hot. I think I've shared this with you before, but for anyone following along, this "book review" (it's more of an article that uses the shortcomings of a particular book as a jumping off point) is a great case study of what I mean: https://www.thepsmiths.com/p/review-scaling-people-by-claire-hughes.
Cheers,
